  • FWC Support Fred Hollows Foundation

    FWC Happy Feet, March 2013

    On Friday 1st March, FWC Happy Feet completed the Coastal Trek Challenge. A whopping 50km from Palm Beach to Balmoral. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side, with torrential rain and strong southerly winds the whole way. From rugged terrain, soft sand and puddles (small rivers!!) that could not be avoided, we trekked on for a staggering 14hours and 7mins. It was certainly a mental and physical challenge. The Fred Hollows Foundation has raised in total a fantastic amount of $1.68million. With our hard work and integrity and many others who took on the trek, including the amazing Senator John Faulkner, who completed the 100km with Ben (who is blind), was an amazing effort by all.     Recently, FWC added a strategic alliance with Mingle Communications. As a result, Mingle's Managing Director Tonya Willoughby heads up FWC's communications and marketing support for clients.
