The project will help prepare diverse forest communities to sustainably manage their own forests.
Responsible for on the ground delivery, FWC is proud to work with industry stakeholder groups in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Indonesia.
Our implementation team has been:
• Beatrice Dindillo in Papua New Guinea*
• Joses Tuhanuku in Solomon Islands
• Rulitha Wijayaningdyah in Indonesia.
All of the team have long experience in the forest industries and expertise in stakeholder management as a result of their senior roles in trade unions in their countries.
FWC Principal Sarah Fitzpatrick - an expert in the Pacific Islands - leads the project from Australia.*We regret to advise that our colleague and dear friend Beatrice Dindillo passed away at her home on 28th May 2009. She leaves a great hole in all of our hearts and we miss her terribly. Beatrice made a difference to everyone she touched. We continue to support her daughter to complete her education.
