Sarah Fitzpatrick

Principal

An experienced practitioner in international industrial relations, community development and social policy – with global networks across Europe, Asia and the Pacific.

For many years based in Geneva, experienced in working with a range of international organisations and networks – United Nations and multi-lateral organisations, international labour organisations and program donors (European, Australian and global).

In recent years, operating from Australia, has worked with Asia Pacific regional organisations with a particular focus on sustainable forestry programs, workplace HIV/Aids programs, women and work, community and stakeholder development in South East Asian and Pacific Island nations.

Has carried responsibility for strategic planning, networking and community and organisational capacity building across industries and sectors. Experience in management and research and policy analysis at regional and national levels.

Continues to provide policy advice and development, program design, implementation, management, research, consulting and evaluation throughout South East Asia and the Pacific Islands.

Tim Woods

Principal

More than 25 years experience as a negotiator, campaigner, public spokesperson and communicator in diverse settings, including workplaces, within industry and in government and multi-lateral forums in Australia and internationally.

Expert in industry strategy, innovative solutions and industrial developments, especially in the pulp and paper, forestry and manufacturing industries. Recent work has focussed on organisational restructuring, climate change and trade negotiation and general project leadership/management.

Practised in the provision of expert market and data analysis advice to corporations and government on a range of industry areas. 

Former Secretary of the Pulp and Paper Workers’ Branch of the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union and Assistant National Secretary of the CFMEU’s Forestry and Furnishing Products Division.

Jodi Clark

Project Officer

Brings a wealth of administrative and project management experience across a variety of industries to Fitzpatrick Woods Consulting.

As project manager of an award-winning community-led project focused on bushfire preparedness, delivered keynote addresses on community engagement strategies at both state-based and national emergency management conferences. Brought community-based issues to the international Random Hacks of Kindness group who were able to provide award-winning innovative IT-based solutions.

Bringing people, organisations and agencies together to develop innovative and creative solutions to difficult problems was key to the success of this project. 

Draws on experience in the emergency management, community engagement, forestry, telecommunications and fitness industries to deliver on projects.
